"A little over a year ago I signed up for buddy training with Stacey. I was a little over 200 pounds, inactive, and not feeling great about myself…especially when faced with clothes shopping. With an obese BMI, my goal at the time was just to be overweight! Stacey was great at motivating and teaching me to eat better. She progressively challenged me without going overboard. When I started, I thought 30 seconds on the treadmill was daunting, but now I can do 1.5 miles in 15 minutes. I lost about 20 pounds over that year, but found that for a while I was simply maintaining my current weight, and needed some motivation to step it up again! Along came the ‘biggest loser’ competition… Ironically, I only joined it because my workout buddy did, and thought we would help each other if we both did it. I told myself I would be ecstatic if I lost 10 pounds, but wound up losing about 20! Keeping a food diary and adding extra workouts made a HUGE difference. Stacey really provided great advice on how to eat healthier. I went from a size 16 to a size 12 and feel great. I am motivated to keep going! All thanks to the wonderful job Stacey does and the support of my workout buddy. If you are looking for caring and knowledgeable folks to motivate and shape a new you, Fit for Life is your place.   "Usually my New Year's resolution is to lose weight, however this year I decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle!  I signed up with Stacey on January 9th and was ready to get started!  I found that I really enjoyed the exercises Stacey had me doing and was even hitting the treadmill on my "relaxing days."  I started eating healthier and realized that I love the structure of eating six small meals a day! It was and is so easy! Usually I would not eat breakfast, eat something unhealthy (bag of chips) around 2:00pm and then eat a huge fattening meal around 8:00pm.  Now, I bring my four small meals to work everyday and I love them!  I also started taking vitamins Stacey recommended, which I have never done.  So, the combination of exercise, eating right, taking vitamins and recently adding Mona vie to my routine have led to my 13 pound weight loss in four weeks!!  For me, once I see the results I really get motivated!  Of course, I can not forget to mention how I couldn't have done it without Stacey's help.  She has made this entire experience such a pleasure! "For the past few years, I have been the victim of a very fast-paced, hectic lifestyle. Since there are only so many hours in a day, something had to give for me, it was always exercise. I would often find myself making excuses, "I'm just too busy and I don't have the time." When the New Year rolled around, I decided that my goal for 2008 was to focus on myself. Among other things, I wanted to begin to lead a healthier lifestyle. I first began my journey at FIT FOR LIFE Personal Training Studio in late January. Instantly, I knew that this was the right place for me. I found myself looking forward to my workout sessions, and even more, I had developed a great new friend in Stacey! After a few minor setbacks during the month of February (business travel and illness), I have settled into a schedule that includes a total of 6 workout sessions per week (3 sessions at FIT FOR LIFE). I have drastically improved my eating habits, not only to enhance my overall health but to also reap the benefits of my hard work. Now, I can honestly say that exercise and nutrition have become a part of my daily routine- no more excuses! I have already begun to notice positive physical results, and I feel as though I am generally a happier and more energetic person. As such, I have found the inspiration and motivation that I need to continue on this incredible journey- and I am delighted to have Stacey as my guide!"
